We sought Larry’s assistance to address some problems in our small business partnership and ended up getting so much more. With Larry’s help, we were able to get to the bottom of all the inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and problematic assumptions which were in the way of being truly successful. But the real bonus was walking into Larry’s office for help with our business, and walking out with a new perspective on our lives as a whole. Our Name Defined

Unfolding the Better You: The process of addition by subtraction. By getting to the truth of someone's current situation and what got them there and getting to the truth of their desired better situation and the steps that will take them there, we remove ineffective decision-making and get someone in touch with effective decision-making that they always possessed. People need to be unfolded, not molded.

I believe the challenge to improve or progress a business, a ministry, a family or just yourself in today's world is tougher than ever before. You need a different set of tools and skills than what you needed just 10 or 20 years ago. LLL consulting is based on principles that have consistently proved to be effective in getting individuals and businesses to progress forward.
Consider this:
Our progress is mostly based on our daily decisions whether those decisions are made consciously or unconsciously. Also, remember to NOT make a decision, is a decision to not act.
Our decisions are only as good as the information that we base them on. Meaning, if you want a decision to be an 8 on the effective scale
(0-10 high), the information you used to make that decision must be an 8 on the truth scale.
I believe most people are good decision makers and most people are poor information seekers or as I call them "truth-seekers".
So whether trying to move forward individually or as a company the steps are the same:
1) Get in the truth about your current situation (where you are)
2) Get in the truth about your better situation (where you want to go)
3) Only then will the decisions that need to be made in the gap between #1 and #2 get perfectly clear
Sounds easy, but it's not.
How can we get in the truth about our situation trying to see it from the inside out. You can't see the forest looking through the trees. The eye just can't see the eye. We need each other to help see the truth about our situation. I always say we were designed to fail without the help of each other. But until we are ready to ask for help, we won't. It may be fear, embarrasement, shame or just pride that is keeping us from humbling ourselves and asking for help. But when the pain of our situation becomes greater than the pain of leaving our comfort zone, we will ask for help.
Next, we live in a world that is loud, disruptive and busy. Most of the communication taking place is just assumptions and vague generalities and we are basing decisions on this partial, distorted and false truth and then wondering why things don't work out for us. We are all too close to our situation. We are all "in a bubble" and the only one that can help us see objectively is somone in a different bubble. But getting to the truth of a matter is like digging for gold. We must be relentless and skilled to do the work of a truth speaker and truth seeker.
Life Leadership Lesson's expertise is seeking, facilitating and assembling the truth of a matter to use it for effective decision making. Once the forward movement of your situation begins we then go to work on training YOU to be skilled at the same: seeking, facilitating and assembling the truth of a matter to use it for effective decision making. It is impossible for you to attain your highest potential without getting to the truth.
